What is the impact of COVID-19 on my order?

We have a small batch of Evora handbags that were produced before the Covid crisis. We have taken extra health and safety precautions when packaging each of the orders and are ready to ship each item safely and on time. 

Our courier can however encounter delays when delivering your order. So please allow a few extra days than what you would normally expect when receiving your package. 

What is the impact of Brexit on my order?

Unfortunately your shopping experience with us might change due to Brexit. As we deliver from within the EU, you might need to pay duties/VAT for your order upon arrival. 

The duties will depend on the value of your order. While we do not know an exact number of how much you might need to pay, reach out to us for an estimate based on our customer's experience with previous orders. 

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to all countries inside the EU as well as a few other countries (UK, Norway, Switzerland and US). We are working to offer worldwide shipping, but that is unfortunately not available yet. For any specific inquires, do write us at and we will be happy to assist you.

Will I be charged duties and taxes?

AMZA Bags ships from inside the EU. Customers and import duties will depend on your countries trading relationship with EU. 

Unfortunately AMZA Bags will not be able to cover the additional taxes and import duties that migth arise with international shipping. Therefore customers are responsible for potential additioanl fees and charges.  We strongly advise to check your own country's import status if you are unsure.

Some examples include:

EU member countries: no import duties

USA: no import duties for orders below the value of $800

UK: duties apply for orders above £135, as well as potential additional fees and taxes

How will my bag be delivered?

We want you to get your bag as soon as possible and in the best condition, so we work with DHL to deliver your order in 4-6 working days in Europe. As soon as we process your order, you will receive a DHL tracking number to get an instant view on where your bag is on its journey to you.

What is the return policy?

We understand you might not have time to try your bag as soon as you receive it. So if needed, you can return it to us up to 30 days after you have received it. We will be refunding you with the full amount as soon as we receive the undamaged bag in its original package. Additionally, we will be covering the costs of the return items if returned from an European Union country, so you can enjoy your shopping worry-free. 

If you return your bag from outside of EU, you will have to cover the return shipping costs. 

According to our policy we cannot unfortunately offer returns completed 30 days or more after your order has arrived to you.

How do I make a return?

To submit a return, simply email with your order number and the details of your request. We will respond to you as soon as possible, typically within one business day with the confirmation and return delivery address. Based on the information you shared we will provide you with a DHL return label.  

Based on where you are sending the return packing from and the courier service used, return times might vary. We will let you know as soon as we receive it and start processing the refund or replacement.

When will I get my refund?

Once we receive your return, we will send you a notification e-mail. Your refund will then be processed and your card or original method of payment will be automatically credited with the paid amount. Please allow a few days for to see the money back in your account. 

Please note that returns postmarked outside of the 30 day policy are ineligible for a refund. Similarly, if the returned item has been used or damaged we cannot accept your return. You can request to have it shipped back at your expense.


What warranty policy do you have?

We stand by the quality of our bags and offer free repairs for any unforeseen quality issues. If this is the case, please e-mail us at, describing the issue and including photos. We will then send you a prepaid return label, with which you can send the bag to us. We will ensure your bag will be properly fixed by an experienced cobbler or send you a new bag. Please allow a 2-3 weeks time frame for this process.

Product care & TIPS

How to best care for my AMZA Bag?

For light surface cleaning, you can wipe your bag using a soft cloth. Do not use any solvents or detergents except for the ones especially made for leather. You can purchase such solvents from specialized stores. We recommend however you try the solvents first on a small patch before applying to the whole bag. 

When you are not using your bag, we advise you to keep it in its pouch when you store it, away from direct sunlight. To keep the bag's shape or to gain it back after using it, fill it with something like bubble wrap or paper. Make sure not to use newspaper as the print on it can rub off onto the lining. 

Make sure you keep your cosmetics in a pouch, to keep your bag's interior protected from accidental spills. When flying, ensure your transparent plastic bag with cosmetics is securely closed also before and after security check. 

The leather we use is specially designed to be durable and keep up with the challenges of a busy travel schedule. You can expect however your bag to beautifully age with time and usage and proudly tell its story.

Will my laptop fit?

We especially designed the bag to fit most common work laptops. So yes, we are fairly confident your laptop will fit nicely in the special laptop compartment of our Evora Bag.
